Description

This Hi-Beat 36000 watch shares the same Evolution 9 design as the multi-awarded SLGH005 "White Birch", but features a black dial that captures the nocturnal atmosphere of the white birch forests of the Hiraniwa Plateau. These forests cover some 400 hectares and are located near the Shizukuishi studio where all Grand Seiko mechanical watches are manufactured. As with all watches in the Evolution 9 collection, the prominence of its grooved hands and hour-markers guarantees perfect legibility. Alternating between Zaratsu polishing, for a mirror finish without the slightest distortion, and brushed finishing, gives the case a discreet, harmonious shine. The case features wide lugs and a low center of gravity, ensuring a perfect fit on the wrist.
